Cosmetics Permanent cosmetics (also known as micropigmentation,
permanent makeup, or cosmetic tattooing) is the safe and completely
controlled methods of inserting microdots of pigment into
the dermal layer of the skin. These "microdots of pigment"
are applied in a series of applications to achieve incredible,
natural to dramatic results - all to your own personal preference.

Permanent Cosmetics for Eyeliner - What to expect:
You may have some slight swelling and puffiness (much like
you've been crying for the next 24-48 hrs.). Ice packs to
the area will help reduce this swelling.
- There may be some reddness and/or bruising at or on the
treated liner line.
- There will be some dry, flaking and peeling(much like
a sunburn) for a few days.
- The healing time could take approximately 3-7 days.
- Color will appear darker and very exact for the first
week.
Permanent Cosmetics for the Eyebrows - What to expect:
You may have some slight swelling and puffiness (much like
you've been crying for the next 24-48 hrs.). Ice packs to
the area will help reduce this swelling.
- Color will appear darker and exact until peeling occurs.
It will be approximately 30% lighter after it heals.
- There will be some dry, flaking and peeling(much like
a sunburn) for a few days.
- The healing time could take approximately 3-7 days.
- Color will appear darker and very exact for the first
week.
Permenant Cosmetics for the Lips - What to expect:
- Very swollen, red brick lipstick color from bruising.
- Lips will weep clear fluid for next couple days as swelling
resolves.
- Feeling of bruised, tender to touch and pressure for first
24-48hrs.
- Chapped, bruised, peeling for 5-7 days.
- Color will be very intense for first week, then after
peeling color will seem ashy and light for 14 days.
- Color will come in to bloom in 2 weeks.
About Nicole, Grand Rapids Permanent Makeup Artist
Nicole has been practicing permanent cosmetics since 1999.
She has taken many advanced courses including speciality color
courses, para-medical and master courses and received certification
in all of these. Nicole is board certified with the American
Academy of Micropigmentation and bloodborne pathogen certified.
In addition to permanent cosmetics training, Nicole is a
Registered Electrologist (permanent hair removal) licensed
with the State of Michigan since 1995. She is has been a certified
Medical Assistant since 1990 and has worked in the field of
dermatology for over 7 years. She has also worked with lasers
and PUVA light therapy.
Nicole's broad range of experience has always focused on
one thing - personal appearance improvement. Nicole practices
safe, sterile single use packaging as well as strict sanitation
guidelines to ensure clients' safety. She enjoys making clients
feel and look their personal best.
